Peter is now pursuing a portfolio of opportunities as an Adviser and Board Member. Peter moved from executive life when he left Santos at the end of 2015 where he helped two commercial Vice President positions. Prior to Santos, Peter enjoyed a 24- year career with BP where he held senior management positions in Australia, Indonesia, Korea, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Santos, Peter was the President of North West Shelf Australia LNG. Peter is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Australia Korea Business Council and the Australia Japan Business Co-operation Committee. Peter Cleary is also the Chair of the AKBC Energy sub-committee.
Paul is the Head of PwC Australia's Korea Practice. He is a director in Financial Assurance team with more than 12 years of international experience providing high quality assurance and advisory services to companies in a wide variety of industry sectors. His clients are predominantly within the energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, and consumer industry sectors. He spent two and a half years in South Korea working closely with a broad range of Korean clients. In conjunction with the relevant PwC teams, he is actively advising various Korean corporates in respect of the potential investment into renewable energy, H2 and critical minerals industry in Australia.
Brad has extensive experience in developing and implementing business strategy to create and maximize value in the Australian and International oil, gas, energy and energy infrastructure markets – from the energy resource through to the point of energy utilization. Throughout his 30- year career, Brad has held a number of Board and senior executive roles namely at Drillsearch, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Sunshine Gas and Epic Energy – all focused on developing and implementing targeted business development strategies aimed at growing and delivering shareholder value through the delivery of cost competitive energy resource solutions. In his time at Drillsearch, Brad received industry recognition including winning the SMH/East Coles S&P/ASX 200 Energy Best CEO 2014.
Alvin D’Almaida is Austrade’s Resources and Energy Investment Manager in the Critical Minerals Team based in Sydney. A geologist by profession, Alvin spent 15 years at Rio Tinto Diamonds and Rio Tinto Iron Ore in exploration, mining, operations and global business development roles. He then joined Wood MacKenzie as Senior Iron Ore Analyst, supporting the banking, government, logistics and mining sectors with deep industry knowledge and expertise.
Alvin then led resources strategy and investment functions as Principal Resources Advisor to the New Zealand Government Sir John Key and Dame Jacinda Ardern, followed by Manager Resources Investment in the New South Wales Government. Alvin joined the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) in June 2022.
Bongman Ko serves as the Managing Director at Kores Australia, a position he has held since March 2023. Prior to this, he was a Senior Manager in the mineral resources information team at KOMIR. His experience also includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MMB, a subsidiary of KOMIR in Mexico. Bongman played a significant part in shaping the strategic direction of KOMIR. He served as a Senior Manager for Business Planning & Risk Management at KOMIR. His financial expertise was also put to good use during his tenure as CFO at Kores Australia from 2008 to 2012.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the State University of New York, NY, USA, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Chung-Ang University in Seoul, Korea.
Louise joined the Australia-Korea Business Council as Executive Director and prior to this worked at Asialink Business and Austrade in helping businesses in Australia succeed internationally. Louise has extensive experience working in international business development across the resources, energy, health and pharmaceutical, education and retail sectors, among others. After moving back to Perth, she was most recently a Senior Economic Development Officer at the City of Joondalup, where she supported local businesses looking to expand internationally. Prior to this, she was responsible for developing and implementing Asialink’s Business strategy to assist NSW-businesses develop capabilities in Asian and Indo-Pacific markets. She has also held a number of overseas-based roles including in China, Malaysia, and Italy, and speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
Louise holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical), both from the University of Western Australia. She was also the inaugural awardee for the Beryl Wilson Austrade Scholarship for Women in International Business.
